If you are reading this post today, please say a prayer for my Son and his new wife. God thank you for keeping these two children in the palm of your hand always. HEB 11:1.....

Faith is a choice
JOB 4
Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,
2 If we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking?
3 Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
4 Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.
5 But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.
6 Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?
In this verse a friend of Job's is reminding him what a pillar of Faith he must have always been in the past, for others when they came to him with thier problems and struggles and he is asking if he has forgotten his Faith? Do the same words that you have shared with others not apply to you in your situation as well, or has the situation changed now that you are the one in need? Have these Words now escaped you, are you unable to recall?
I came across this verse as always, at the perfect time. It served as a reminder to me that it is easy to have Faith for others but Faith for ourselves as we are going through hard times, can be hard to come by. We must hold onto our words that we share to encourage others through their trials, for they very well can be the same words that hold us up through our own if choose to allow them to. The devil is very sly the way that he tries to steal the Words of Truth from us and replace them with lies. Let us make the choice to have the same confidence in God that we have for others for ourselves, realizing that we are just as worthy as anyone simply because we are loved by God just the same as they are.
